ECO4 may help eligible households with energy-efficiency improvements, including some heating upgrades. The scheme runs to 31 December 2026. Support is not automatic and depends on household eligibility, the property’s energy rating, a technical assessment, supplier funding and the measures approved. Eligibility-Assessed Support
ECO4 is aimed at lower-income and vulnerable households living in less energy-efficient homes. Funding may be full or partial, and boiler work is normally considered as part of a wider eligible energy-efficiency package. We will never describe funding as guaranteed before assessment.
